1. Bourbon Biscuit Cake

Bourbon Biscuit Cake

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 packets of Bourbon biscuits
  • 1 packet of Eno
  • 1 cup of water
  • ½  cup of milk
  • 1 tsp oil

Method:

  1. Grind the Bourbon biscuits into a fine powder. 
  2. Transfer this powder to a large steel bowl (line this bowl with oil first) and add milk. 
  3. Mix the two ingredients to make a thick and aromatic batter. 
  4. Add 1 tsp Eno powder in the batter now, and start whisking it in one direction for 2-3 minutes. 
  5. Next, take a pressure cooker and fill it with one cup of water, and let it come to a boil. 
  6. Place your steel bowl in the cooker now over a small and inverted steel bowl (or anything that’ll elevate the batter bowl’s height in the cooker) and cover the cooker. 
  7. Let the batter cook on low heat for 25 minutes and voila, your Bourbon Biscuit cake is ready to be Instagrammed and eaten. 
  8. You can garnish it with biscuit crumbs, chocolate sauce and even cream cheese. 

2.  Oreo Biscuit Cake

Preparation Time: 10-15 minutes

Cooking Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 packets of Oreos
  • Dry fruits 
  • Baking powder/Eno
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 cup of water
  •  A pinch of salt 
  • 1 spoon of jam 

Method:

  1. Take two packets of Oreo biscuits and grind them into a fine powder. 
  2. Add crushed almonds, walnuts or pistachios (any one of these three dry fruits) in this powder and add milk and salt in a bowl lined with 1 tsp oil and stir. 
  3. If by chance you do have baking powder at home, you can use ½ spoon of it instead of 1 tsp Eno powder in the cake batter. 
  4. Mix in one direction and prep the pressure cooker by filling it with one cup of water, and letting it come to a boil. Once the water is boiled, place your bowl in the cooker. 
  5. Cook for 35 minutes and then let it cool. 
  6. You can top this no-oven oreo biscuit cake with strawberry preserve and even vanilla ice cream.
  7. Cut into slices and enjoy the oreo biscuit cake with the whole family.

3. Vanilla & Chocolate Parle-G Biscuit Cake

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 packets of Parle-G biscuits
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 drops of vanilla essence
  • Chocolate sauce or 2 melted chocolate bars or gooey milk and Bournvita paste
  • ½  tablespoon of baking powder/ 1 tablespoon of Eno
  • ½ cup walnuts (optional)

Method:

  1. Grind the biscuits into a fine powder, add milk, vanilla essence and stir, stir, stir in a large oil-lined steel bowl. 
  2. Add Eno and stir in one direction. 
  3. Place this bowl in the pressure cooker and cook for 25 minutes. 
  4. Take it out and let the cake cool. 
  5. Once it’s at room temperature, carefully cut this divine creation into 2 layers and slather chocolate sauce in between them. 
  6. Place the top layer back, garnish with walnuts and let the cake chill in the refrigerator for an hour. Parle G biscuit cake is the perfect quarantine dessert! 

4. Chia Seeds & Marie Biscuit Cake

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 packets of Marie biscuits
  • A small cup of powdered sugar
  • A cup of milk
  • A handful of raisins
  • Chia seeds
  • 1 drop of vanilla essence 
  • ½ tsp baking powder

Method:

  1. Grind the biscuits into a fine powder and add the sugar, raisins and vanilla essence in it and transfer the contents to a big steel bowl, lined with oil. 
  2. Add milk and start whisking. After it becomes a gooey consistency, add the baking powder (this recipe works better with baking powder) and mix in one direction for 2-3 minutes. 
  3. Place the bowl in the preheated pressure cooker and cook for 25 minutes. 
  4. Garnish it with more dry fruits and chia seeds. 

5. Fresh Fruit Biscuit Cake

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 packets of Parle-G biscuits
  • A small cup of powdered sugar
  • A cup of milk
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 2-3 tbsp fresh cream

Method:

  1. Grind the biscuits, add the powdered sugar, milk and cut fruit in a large steel bowl, lined with oil. 
  2. Mix well and add baking powder. 
  3. Cook this batter in the pressure cooker for 30 minutes and then let this aromatic cake cool. 
  4. Once it’s at room temperature, cut the cake in 2-3 layers. Fill these layers with fresh cream and also some chopped almonds. 
  5. Let the cake sit in the refrigerator for 2 hours and serve chilled. 
  6. You can also garnish it with cream cheese, berries, pistachios and freshly cut fruits.

6. Easy Marie Biscuits Cake

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Freezing Time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

  • 2 packet Marie biscuits
  • 4 tsp Cocoa powder
  • ⅓ cup of cornflour
  • ⅓ cop of milk
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 4 cheese slices
  • 250 gm compound chocolate
  • 1/2 cup Amul cream

Method:

  1. In a bowl, add unsalted butter, cocoa powder, drinking chocolate powder, powdered sugar and mix it well to make a thick consistency mixture. Keep it aside.
  2. In another bowl, mix milk and coffee powder. Dip the Marie biscuit in the coffee mixture making sure that the biscuits are well coated.
  3. Arrange the biscuits as a stack one on top of the other. Once all the biscuits are coated well, lie down the stack.
  4. Cover the whole biscuit stack with the chocolate mix uniformly and keep it in the fridge for 1 hour.
  5. Here comes the most tricky part. Cut it into slices from the corner at 30 degrees. Initially, two pieces will be small, after that, you will get the regular size slice. It can be stored in the refrigerator for a week.

7. Good Day Biscuit Cake

Preparation Time: 10-15 minutes

Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet Good Day biscuits
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon chopped dry fruits
  • 2 tablespoon tutti frutti
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda

Method:

  1. Firstly grind biscuits into a fine powder and serve it in a bowl to discard chunks.
  2. Now mix half milk in it in small batches. Stir continuously to avoid lumps.
  3. When there is smooth consistency add half of the dry fruits and tutti frutti and mix it well.
  4. Keep this batter for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, boil 2 glass of water in a big vessel.
  5. Grease the cake tin with ghee or oil.
  6. Now after 15 minutes stir the batter once more and add baking soda and mix it. But do not over mix.
  7. Now pour this batter into the greased cake tin. Tap it two times and garnish it with remaining dry fruits and tutti frutti.
  8. Put this cake tin carefully on a stand in boiling water and cover it.
  9. Cook it for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes check it by inserting a knife. If the knife comes out clean then your Good Day biscuit cake is ready otherwise cook it for some more time.
  10. When your cake is ready take it out carefully and let it cool. When it is cooled take it out from the cake tin with the help of a knife.
  11. Your biscuit cake is ready to eat.

8. Orange Biscuit Cake

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 Packet of orange cream biscuit 
  • 2 tablespoons of Amul butter 
  • 2 small cups of milk 
  • 1 small dairy milk chocolate

Method:

  1. Put the orange biscuits, milk and butter together in a mixer and prepare the batter well for the cake.
  2. After this, put the batter in the aluminium cooker pot of the cake making cooker, but keep the pot a little empty for the cake to flourish.
  3. Now cook it on low heat for 35 minutes
  4. Take out the prepared cake when it is cold.
  5. Then garnish with dairy milk chocolate.

9. Chocolate Biscuit Cake

Preparation Time: 10-15 minutes

Cooking Time: 30-45 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 300 grams of milk digestive biscuits
  • 1 cup of milk 
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder  
  • 1 tablespoon of unflavoured fruit salt (Eno) 

Method:

  1. Place a wire stand inside the pan and preheat the pan on a medium flame for 10 minutes.
  2. Add the biscuits to a blender and make them into a fine powder.
  3. Transfer the powdered biscuit mixture into a mixing bowl.
  4. Then add 2tbsp of cocoa powder to the mixture and combine everything well.
  5. Next, slowly add the milk to the biscuit mixture and mix well into a smooth batter.
  6. Now add the unflavoured fruit salt (Eno) to the batter and add little milk on the salt and give a really quick mix of everything.
  7. Immediately pour the batter into the prepared cake tin and place the cake tin in the preheated pan and cover it.
  8. Cook it for 30-45 minutes on low flame or bake in an oven at 180-degree Celsius.
  9. Next, unmould the cake into a plate.
  10. You can decorate the cake with some melted chocolate.
  11. Slice a piece of the chocolate biscuit cake and enjoy!

10. Hide And Seek Biscuit Cake

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 12-15 minutes

Ingredients: 

  • 1 packet of hide and seek biscuits.
  • 1 packet of parle g biscuits.
  • 1 packet of regular Eno or 1 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder.
  • 1 cup of milk
  • ⅓ cup of butter for greasing

Method:

  1. Grind both the biscuits like powder and empty them in a large bowl.
  2. Add milk to the mixture.
  3. Mix it well.
  4. Grease the moulds.
  5. And Eno or baking powder to the batter.
  6. Put a stand in the cooker and put a steel plate/dish on the stand.
  7. Pour the batter into the moulds and keep it in the cooker for 12-15 minutes. (note- don’t put the whistle on top of cooker and water in the cooker)
